| Scrambling Photos from Two O'Clock Ridge | May 31, 2008 |
Two O'Clock Ridge is a excellent destination for early season hiking. The approach route is described in "The David Thompson Highway: A Hikers Guide". The ridge is mostly a hike with some rubble hopping required. I went up it as early as is probably feasible. There was still lots of snow on the summit when we arrived. Avoiding snow was necessary on the way up since most snow was knee deep. The snow on the summit was pretty solid for us. If it had been postholing on the final summit ridge we probably wouldn't have made it. This trip is definitely a full day outing. Enjoy the show
