play Up One Level not an important image Scrambling Photos from Mount Lawrence Grassi South PeakJune 15, 2008

Mount Lawrence Grassi is a short scramble by Canmore that requires some bushwacking. It is less often climbed than other scrambles near Canmore. I made a false identification of the summit from a gully and as a result ended up heading up the wrong peak. I didn't realize this till I was most of the way up. So I decided to go to the top of the peak I was on which is the South Peak of Mount Lawrence Grassi
