I had my sights set on Abraham Mountain for this trip and I was hoping to get to at least the top of the ascent gully. Unfortunately even though Abraham Slabs were snow free the upper gully was not. I was able to get quite far up before I ran into deep snow and was forced to retreat. I never expected to summit on this attempt. I was mostly interested in scouting out the route for a future club trip. The gully was very nice to ascend with snow. However I am told that in the summer the scree in the gully is rather painful. I will have to return to this summit one day. Just like my Coliseum Mountain page the original trip report mysteriously vanished for this trip
