Elk Island is a great place to go skiing for the day. Especially convenient if you live near Edmonton.
On this outing we skied the short but beautiful Simmons Trail. Which begins at the Shirley Lake Trailhead. A good chance to get my brother off his duff and outdoors. Most of the photos are self explanatory so I will refrain from commenting on all of them.
